My focus is to help my clients, of all ages and fitness levels, to gain the confidence and freedom in their bodies that they do not (yet) realise that they can attain.
I help people to move better in their daily lives so that they can continue to do the things they love for as long as possible – that may be dancing, or playing with the kids/grandkids, playing sports, or simply feeling stronger and healthier in their bodies every single day.
For me, Pilates = Posture and Posture is Key to a balanced body which enables us to move in the most efficient way – with good alignment and therefore less wear and tear on our joints.
I support people through detailed observation and feedback and my attention to detail is second to none! I am constantly researching and discovering new ways to break down an exercise so that my clients reach the ‘light bulb’ moment and over the years I’ve developed some weird and wonderful analogies to achieve this.
My teaching reflects my many years of experience and has evolved into an organic, diverse mix of Dance, Yoga, Pilates, Strength & Conditioning training, and a thirst for knowledge about how to live a long and happy life with optimum health.
My other passions are eating healthily, social partner dancing (West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, and Salsa), being outdoors at the beach or in the New Forest, and all the dogs in my life – past and present. I believe that we should all ‘be more dog’ and live in the moment as much as possible.
